BIO

Annezina is an Athens-based artist and architect. She studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens, where she also completed a postgraduate degree in Monument Restoration. Her work draws on the  collections of ancient Greece: the patterns of Geometric vessels and the forms of Cycladic art, reduced to precise lines and shaped by a love of symmetry. From this language she builds a contemporary universe of her own. At its center is a recurring geometric woman, who appears across her ceramics, jewelry, prints and collages and stands for strength and freedom.
