Logo Lady Story

I’m Annezina Dampolia and I created the brand Logo Lady Studio as an act of personal emancipation and search for my role as a modern woman, mother and artist.

I’ve studied architecture and monument restoration at NTUA and I love every building and object that bears the patina of time. I am inspired by art, museum collections and the women around me.

When, thirsting for contact with culture during the quarantine I got my hands on an album from the National Archaeological Museum, I was enthralled by the decorations of the ceramics of the Geometric Age and began to create black and white geometric compositions with my bamboo pen on paper. At the same time and while the Greek #Me Too movement was at its peack, I began to incorporate strong feminine Greek words and imposing female figures into my geometric patterns.

This is how I inspired the characteristic woman in my logo, my Logo Lady, a geometric bear breasted figure, that symbolizes the free woman and my love of geometric designs in ancient Greek pottery.

I paint ceramic vases and mugs, draw  with wooden pens and print on bamboo paper and make collages for silk screen prints on T-Shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, tote bags and notebooks.

Logo Lady's journey has just begun and I can't wait to see where it takes me!
